Full Time Job in Finance Department

We are looking for an experienced Trade Finance Analyst to mainly handle the bank transactions, insurance and financial instruments

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the permanent contact with the bank and handle the bank documentations
  • Work with financial instruments.
  • Communicate with Banks to negotiate for quotes for Letter Of Credit Transactions and explore Trade Finance Opportunities.
  • Control trading operations such as establishing letter of credit, negotiating LC Terms and conditions, discounting LC, issuing bank guarantees, and submitting control returns on all the discounted LCs. 
  • Manage all procedures with the banks regarding LC letters, guarantee letters
  • Coordinate with supply chain departments concerning LC's and payment terms
  • Submit and manage the payments process, ensure all payments are checked, signed and submitted to the banks, before their respective deadlines (all payments not only related the ones in relation to financial instruments)
  • Perform cash management and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
  • Submit to the Group Treasury timely and accurate financial information.
  • Check the bank statements and follow up. Check the bank interest and commissions
  • Documenting transactions and updating ledgers / financials database
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Calculate the customer invoices aging and report to Group, monthly
  • Follow up on overdue
  • Fully handle the relation with Coface
  • Ensure the customer registration limit in Coface is done in time and correctly
  • Handle other accounting tasks as requested (e.g. GL/AP entries, accounts reconciliations)
  • Support the monthly closing process for both management and statutory
  • Support the yearly audit for management and statutory
  • Support for the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator - export) implementation
  • Implementing financial policies and procedures

 

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics – "Relatii Economice Internationale" or a similar field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the field
  • English – very good level is essential
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Trade Finance especially Letters of Credit
  • Smart, sharp mind and ambitious
  • Good excel knowledge
  • Analytical skills, well organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Strong mathematic abilities
  • Team player, good communicator and keen to meet deadlines.
